About us
The Idea of CHRIST CARE MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL was born in 2002 to Wicklife and Lilian Omendah to extend God’s love to the people of Kenya and others by Caring, Equipping, Training, Empowering and / or Meeting their Spiritual, Intellectual, Social, Emotional and Physical needs with Christian Integrity.
Christ Care Ministries International is a registered Trust in Kenya (Reg. Number D1 226/7359 MMVII) with the following objectives.
Objectives
Caring
The Orphans, Street kids and Widows need a safe and loving environment, Nutritious meals, Love, Protection, a clean home and medical care. They also need Physical, Spiritual and Emotional healing.
Church and School of Minsitry
The Children, Youths and Widows need a strong moral foundation based on Biblical principles. They need to know God, experience Him and make Him known to others.
Community Development
The Community needs clean water, medical services, knowledge in better farming methods and credit and saving unions that will help their families to be able to afford a better home and education.
Other Objectives
- Reaching, raising and restoring hurting, abandoned orphans, street children, the disabled and widows through providing them with a secure environment where they will receive food, shelter and education.
- To establish, assist, collaborate with, and/or aid HIV/AIDS projects with ultimate goal of ministering to whole persons (i.e. spirit, soul and body).
- Supporting church plans which offer and/or provide Christian fellowship to those of like faith.
- To identify, gather and/or assemble the physically handicapped, mentally handicapped and underprivileged people in order to create awareness in them and/or counsel them of their value, esteem and acceptance in the community, and to train and equip them with skills and/or knowledge that may make them self reliant and or/or self employed.
- To train and equip the youth with skills that may make them self reliant/employed and to organize youth conferences, football matches/tournaments, workshops and/or conferences to create awareness in them on the dangers of irresponsible behaviors.
- Preaching and teaching Christian principles, doctrines and/or messages to the people of Kenya with a view of giving them an opportunity to know and experience God in a life long friendship and to mobilize them to bring good news to other people and advising them to be good and/or disciplined members of the society.
- Raising the people of Kenya to be a kingdom people of God by preaching and teaching the word of God as outlined in the Holy Bible.
- To identify, assist, equip, liaise and network with other Christian leaders in carrying on church related tasks according to their gifting and/or ability.
- To offer Christian counseling services and train Christian counselors to meet the needs of the members of their community.
- To avail, supply, offer, sell and/or lend Christian materials in form of books, magazines, Braille, audio and video tapes etc.
- Doing all or anything that is directly conducive suitable and/or necessary for the attainment, execution and/or accomplishment of any or all the aforestated objectives.
- Liaising and networking with organizations, personalities and relief agencies involved in similar objectives as listed hereinabove.
- Turning the community into a centre of learning, giving and serving through establishments of educational institutions, health facilities and health care programs.
- Establishing and maintaining a place of worship of the Lord God.
